Hello and thank you for your interest in The Sky Rider Foundation. My name is Isaiah Rider, IV. My father is Isaiah Rider, Jr. He is a retired NBA player. He played for 9 seasons in the NBA,  and led the league in scoring. He won the 1994 slam dunk contest, where he originated the “East Bay Funk Dunk.” My mother Vanessa’s passion for children is what birthed this foundation. My dream is to give everyone who is interested an equal opportunity to experience sports.  Nowadays it can be costly, but I hope that does not stop you!

You can apply on our website for a scholarship and based on your need, receive either a full or partial award. Also, 100 applicants a year will receive a scholarship to attend my father’s annual basketball camp in Alameda, CA , in addition to their award.
